This Forums is DEAD!!!!

Come on guys (and gals)
I know its winter and i know that this is a car forum place but there HAS to be more riders here than this. Lets keep this place alive.

Do any of us have any plans for this comming spring?

Personally i plan to buy a new bike and maybe ride cross county. I'm in the planing stage. Its something i have always wanted to do, but never materalized the plans. But ive been trying to live life like its my last day. Really enjoy things while im here.

I just love the idea of riding out of downtown chicago, through the corn fields, mountains, desert and end up at the beach. I dont plan on making any reservation at hotels, just stoping when i'm tired. I'll packing a small pack of cloths and a back pack of neccessoties.

I would also like to go to bike week in daytona, but i hear its mostly cruisers and choppers.

Well thats my plan, anyone got something better, or advice for me.

I'm going to *try* to tear my bike apart this winter. Get a little more technical know-how than changing oil and sparkplugs. I'll post more details later.

I remember when i tore apart my stunt bike. It was a great experience. I tore it apart over the winter and painted it my self. Gave me a much better idea of the ins and out of the operation of the cycle. Plus i got to repair some problems i didnt even know i had.
Just be sure to label all the little screws, other wise you end up with extra parts!!!

Re: This Forums is DEAD!!!!

Been putting alot of chrome on my rod.I can still ride almost every day.Central Fl is great.I've been motorizing some rental pedal cars for one of the motel owners in Daytona Beach Shores and will be delivering one hopefully this weekend.Been thinking about a custom bike.Maybe the Bad Attitude from Thunder Mountain.I'll be in Daytona bike week.I'll be staying at the Beach House.I live about 90 miles from Daytona.Come by and see me.Ask Pat where I'll be.He's the owner. Re: This Forums is DEAD!!!!

hahaha, just a quick and somewhat humerous update... My dad took my bike down to our basement so we can do some work on it this winter without destroying the garage, and in the process he managed to take half the door frame out I haven't seen the damage yet, but I have already been warned (told) that my BRAND NEW FRONT TIRE is leaking air. That dang tire had about 400 miles on it. Hadn't even taken the chicken strips off it yet.

Well, you see... I live on a hill such that the (only) floor of our house is pretty much level with the higher side (uphill) of the lot. The basement is on the lower (downhill) side of the lot, so it is ground level at the lower end. My dad rode/pushed my bike down our street and to the basement door... well... He had left the door ajar so he could just kinda bump it open and ride on in, however, when he opened or closed another door in the house, the airpressure pulled the basement door closed, so when he bumped it with the front tire, the door was very much closed and the door frame broke as the front tire on my bike popped.
