First go somewhere and have the car scanned. The SES light is on for some reason better figure out why.

But to reset, unplug battery for 30 - 60 min

Re: service engine soon light

I was told that the only way to reset the light was with the scanner. Any way if the battery unplog works let me know, and if the car has real problem the light will come on again.

An SES light will not come on because of low coolant. The Low Coolant light will come on in that case. The SES light is on because the computer is sensing something is wrong.. basically, a sensor in the car is saying, Hey! Something is wrong here!
Best bet would be to take it to a local Autozone or a place that checks the codes for free.

You were also told your car had 300HP.....I guess that was wrong too!

You can reset your SES like by unhooking the battery for 30 - 60 mins
But if the problem is still there it will show up again.

Re: service engine soon light

Kil thinks his car came stock with 3.29 gears....
Kil thinks his car has 300HP with only a pulley upgrade.....
Kil thinks he knows alot about his car when he really knows nothing.....
(i will help him understand his car but his statements need to stop....total BS comes from this guy)

me and several other people here have been in the GP Community for a long time we know what it takes to get our cars going and also know BS when we see it....so far Kil is all BS

Re: service engine soon light

JJUBECK is not everyone id just GTPCatz. I made some mods to my car using the local GM Dealer and Mr. GTPCatz and others feel It was all BS. Check the Ubend post. But when I found out that Ripn12s got similar performance from his car with relative small amount of modifications and that even he got at the Dyno ~291HP with the exhaust manifold installed that was it everyone stopped messing except GTPCatz. GTPCatz insisted that no GM Dealer would waranty the job I said they made but since the engine, transaxle and SC are Goodwrench parts and they modified some internals these have the waranty GM originally stated of 36 months, 50k miles and that all other parts used to mod the car had their respective vendor waranties he felt all was a lot BS.
I explained that the GM Dealers are not GM Owned and that the GM Dealer can cut deals with their customers. Just that. And he now does not seem to understand.
Thanks anyway for your concern.
