O/D button
On Sunday Night I was trying to get my car out of a parking spot after plows came by and boxed my car in with snow. I was putting a lot of strain on my transmission since I was trying to rock my car out by putting it in reverse then in drive... After I got out of the spot I went to a gas station. When I started my car back up the O/D light was flashing. I was very worried until today. I've also had my check engine light on for about a month and today it magically dissapeared when I started my car. The car runs a lot smoother than before. I don't know what the hell happened and I hope the light never comes on again.

Re: O/D button
My owners manual states that his could happen if excessive wheel spin occurs ie: stuck in snow.
Normal occurance. Just don't beat the snot out of it if stuck. Better and cheaper to drag it out with a tow truck than risk the you know what burning out. You were lucky this time but next time????? Take her easy. Mark |
