93 cavalier elec ign control module

where is the elec ignition module on a 1993 chevy cavalier? Also how about the crank sensor? I had the car in for diagnosis and wasn't happy with the estimate. The car starts a little rough, then runs fine, but after 15 minutes of driving or so it kills.

First we need to know what engine you have in your car.... 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder. if you have a V6 your Ignition module is goign to be located under the Ignition Coil Packs, just under the front exaust manifold. If its the 4cylinder its going to be in the back of the motor i believe. both require some time and effort to replace. Easiest way to find it, is to follow your spark plug wires down to the coil packs. I have done alot of Ignition modules on the V6 (z24) and have done them on 2.5L engines but not a 2.2l

the 2.2 coil pack is located on the back side of the engine next to the fire wall. Like "thecommi" said follow the ignition wire to find it. word to the wise. It's a bitch to get your hands up there to work on. only easy way to work on it is on a lift from under the car.
