Auto lock hub acting up?
Hi All,
I just bought a 2001 Xterra and love it. I'm not a real off-road guy yet though. Here's what's happening: After shifting out of 4H back into 2H and backing up a bit to release the hubs (Nissan factory installed, not mods) I hear a rub/grind sound coming from the right front wheel. Is it an autolock hub? If so it is expensive to replace? Thank you, Mike |

might be the hub or maybe the bearings need to be repacked or a brake caliper sticking. the autolocking hubs are very expensive, but hopefully you are under warranty.
