Does anyone have instruction information on installing Warn manual locking front wheel hubs?
If you replace the hubs should the whel bearings be repacked? |

Re: replacing auto locking hubs with manual
They should come with instructions with them. It doesnt seem that hard, just take one off and put the other on.
As far as the wheel bearings, yes repack them everytime you do something with the front (hubs, rotors, etc.). If you cant get instructions, go to fullsizebronco.com someone on there will have them for sure. Or at least be able to walk you through it.

Re: replacing auto locking hubs with manual
Thanks, The reason I asked is because I had a set put on and a week later a rusty wheel bearing failed and ruined everything on the right spindle, invluding the spinlde.

Just replace the bearings at the same time. They are not expensive at all, and are worth it if your old ones are questionable at all.
They're easy to change too!! |

Didn't do it.
I changed the hubs out in my truck about 3 years ago. I did not repack anything and I have not had any problems 50,000 miles later.
