Kumho ECSTA HP4 716

Hi guys,

I am looking to buy new set of tires for my 2001 Honda Civic. Wanted to get some input on Kumho ECSTA HP4 716 tires, or any other tires that you would recommend.

thanks,
Alex

Check the above link for a whole listing of tires in your size. It will depend on which Civic model you have since they run both 14" and 15" sizes depending on the model. If we knew which tire size you are running now it would be easier to offer suggestions. The Kumho is actually a very nice all season tire. I wouldn't say it's one of the better handling sporty tires. It's more of a touring tire that has more of an emphasis on quiet ride and better comfort. It's a very good solid all season. If you are in an area where you have snow, you might want to look at a Winter tire since you are going to 18" this Spring. That would give you the best of both worlds.

thanks for the info. I did some more research and decided to go with Kumhos. Ordered mine on Tuesdays and had them istalled today. It rained today and I got a chance to test tires today, so far so good, but I guess the real test will be when I'll put couple of thousand of miles on them and drive in snow...will see what happens.

Thanks again,
Alex
