Isn't that the wrong size for an INtegra/Civic? Stock comes with 195/55x15" So you can get 205/50x15" or the same as OEM.

They are both inexpensive - and I tried researching the customer ratings but there's nothing listed about the Dunlops.

Your speedo will be off and your tires will have bigger sidewalls which mean your handling may or may not increase or decrease.

the speedo will stay the same cause it's still the same size tire diameter why as the only difference is the width of the tire on the ground

The tire diameter will incerase if you put the 205/55/15 instead of the 195/55/15 from the factory. The "55" is a procentage of the tire width. So by getting the 205 vs 195 that will increase the procentage of the side wall hight. So if you want to keep your speedo the same you will have to go with the 205/50/15 so the diameter is the same. The 205/55/15 will fit your car but your speedo will be off. But that is up to you on what you want to get. Good luck. stefan525

As he said 55 is the percentage of width. So 55% of 195 is different than 55% of 205. You speedo will be off.

the tire diameter issue

there will be a difference but most speedos are inacurate anyways its proven that a car in the united states spedometer will be off as far as 10% at 8o mph quit being so picky he can go get his spedo gauged for about a hundred dollars but then he'll have no excuse to tell the cop why he was speeding

Yes speedo from factory is off, but that doesn't mean he should make it more inaccurate. I'm running 215/40x16" tires when I'm supposed to be running 205/45x16". My speedo reads 95mph when my friend is going 80mph. That's a huge difference. Plus not only will your speedo be off, but if you are running ABS that can be affected, and your odometer/mileage gets messed up too.

if you look at tirerack.com or tires.com they say the firt set of number is the width of the tire from sidewall to sidewall so 205 is wider than 195. The 2nd number is the sidewall hieght 55 is taller than 50. then last number is rim size. So all that stuff you said about your speedo being wrong cause of the first number than learn how to read. the second number set is what would change that. getting 205 55 15 wouldn't change nothin but contact patch "sidewall to sidewall"

Hey looser ....... any way you kinda know what you are talking about. Yes the first # is the tire width and the second # is the hight but the second # is a % of the width so a 205/50/16 will be taller wider than a 195/50/16 since the 50 is a % of the 205 and the 195. If you don't belive me research it yourself. :finger:

Here even better since you are too .... to look it up and educate yourself. Read and learn.......

Tire Sizing

Passenger Tire sizing is typically displayed as:

P215/65R15 89H

The "P" stands for "P-Metric" or "Passenger". This means that it is a North American tire sizing designation. European tires typically don't have the "P" attached to the size.

The "215" is the width of a tire, also known as the "section width". This is the width of the tire in millimeters at its widest point from sidewall to sidewall.

The "65"is known as the Aspect Ratio. It is calculated by dividing the section height by the section width and multiplying by 100.

The "R" stands for Radial, meaning it has a radial construction. Other possibilities include "B" for belted construction and "D" for diagonal construction.

The "15" stands for the diameter of the wheel in inches. This is the exact size that this tire will fit.

The "89" is the load index

The "H" is the speed symbol.
