New VW's A Real Sizzler
There could soon be an all-new model from Volkswagen - and it will certainly be an old banger. The firm has been secretly producing currywurst (image) - a spicy sausage - and serving them at its Wolfsburg factory canteen.

Now, the popularity of the snacks among workers has led to speculation they may be exported. VW's tried to hide news of its sausages for fear of ridicule. However, this year it will knock out 1.5million currywursts - three times its car tally. A spokesman said the saus-age wouldn't be sold with VW bran-ding, as it didn't fit the firm's image.

I think it's a good move, and I am very interested in trying out their new product. (Which is a first for me)

i'd eat a VW currywurst, whatever the hell it is. i'll try almost anything once. that'd be phat if they came up with a plate of these things at the dealerships.

Hell yea that would be cool. Free food while looking at cars...I love it! Actually, the major ford dealership in my area has free drinks and popcorn. Its a good combination I think.
