1999 Astro LS Please Help

Ok I am thinking about buying a 1999 Chevy Astro LS 2WD 4.3L V6 with about 122,000 miles on it the price is 6662 and I was wonder if it is a good buy and a good car. I did check it all out and everything the engine run execellent and response is good and the heat and air work great ,too. I used to have a GMC Safari and I liked it so I think it is nice but I would like another opinion. If some one could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Ps : O yeah and if I do decide to buy it I like to beef the engine up a little bit so any recommendation on that would be good to and I am not talking about an engine swap either.
Thanks again
