About $154 a month for liability only It comes out to $1850 a year. It's so high because of 3 tickets... 1 reckless, 2 speeding. When I first started driving it was about $1100 a year ($92 a month) for liability only.

Ouch!!! That hurts. Mine is so low because 1) I'm married, 2) I'm 37 yrs old, 3) I can't even remember the last time I had a ticket 4) I also have a van, and motorcycle on the same insurance policy which lowers the premium a little.

my shitty cavalier is 225 a month for full coverage...so I think it's safe to say an s14 should be a little less...

no speeding tickets, but I'm 20...I'm not even on my own plan either...the car is a 98 so I think that and me being a guy is why the rates are so bad...

how much does the insurance go down when you hit 21?

J SPEC SilEighty: You really should have full coverage...what if someone hits your car in a parking lot...your poor 240 would be fucked ...but I do understand that full coverage is a lot, especially when you are never using the benefits so all that money is going down the drain...

yeah I've thought about it, but I don't even want to find out what full coverage for me would be.

ok.. this really pisses me off.

i just did a insurance quote for a 1991 240sx 5speed coupe....

i live in canada.

anyone wanna guess what the quote was as first driver on the car?

12 FUCKIN THOUSAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and thats from 3 companies!!!!!!!!!!!!

i used my brothers info to get the quote (clean record) this is insanity.

the car costs 2300 Canadian for christ sakes. this is so stupid. if u hear any terrorist attacks at a Ministry of Transportation building, u best recognize!!!
