milage with adding big 16g turbo

I have a 1995 talon tsi awd that just turned 100,000 miles and want to buy the big 16g turbo, will it hurt the engine by adding the bigger turbo with so many miles on the motor and will i see a big difference in the turbo than the stock T-25 in performance and horspower? Most of my miles on my car are highway miles. Eventually i am buying another engine to rebuild but this is to get me by for the summer until i can get another engine. THANK YOU IF YOU REPLYED

no, it will be fine a 16g is not much bigger than your t-25. It is just gonna have some more lag to it.
