Does anyone have any pictures of a red carbon fiber hood? Even better if it was on a 99 red si. I ordered one and wanted to see some pictures of it before it gets here. Thanx

I bought the hood from Versusmotorsports and they get it from another company who makes them on demand. So they aren't just sitting ina warhouse. There site doesn't have any pictures or anything so it kinda sucks.

But they still MAKE the hood, which means when its done they can take a picture I hate companies that are lazy, do you know what kind of hood it is?

I called the guy up and they don't have any pictures of the colored hoods. I guess when I get my hood I will have to e-mail it to them so they can use it as a show car . Other people in the Civic forum say that they have seen it on cars and it looks real tight so i am getting real anxious. I hope it looks as good as it sounds.

If its red/black it will appear to be more of a maroonish color from far away. But even on a BRIGHT RED car, it still looks good. When you get the hood you should take pics, if you can take a few good snaps I might compensate you

you ordered something that expensive without looking at a picture of it?? I don't think I would ever make a purchase of anything big without looking at it first.

I saw a colored carbon fiber hood on eBay a while ago.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...item=598866583

They have them in blue, light blue, green, gold/yellow, orange, red, silver/gray.

I haven't read much into or know much about carbon fiber hoods, but Blazing Falcon (the manufacturer of these hoods) doesn't look too reputable(sp?). Just thought I'd pass it along.

I bought a girl without seeing her once, that's the last time I buy something without looking at it first.

IMO I think you should've just stuck with the black CF hood. I think the black contrast with the red would look really cool. But anyways, too late for opinions since you already bought it. You got some balls buying something that expensive without knowing how its gonna look on your ride. Definitely post pics whenever you can.
