extra hose in throttle body
I got an engine swap because my old h23a1 had over 127k miles on it and the mechanic said it had a bad head.
After I got the car back, I checked under the hood and it seems a vacuum tube wasn't connected to the throttle body. The connection was just plugged up with a nipple. Here's a pic of what I mean. It looks kind of like the manifold for an h22, but my engine imprint says h23a. The one I'm talking about is the one with the black nipple on the far left. This was just a pic I found online to show you which one I mean. ![]() Where does that hole lead to? |
