Shh...Don't Tell Security!
Hello Everyone! I'm here, curled up on my bed, with my head resting on one knee as I type to you. Yes. I am bored. I catch a plane tomorrow afternoon to fly home, out of Portland, but until then, I am here on campus alone. And, I'm here against school policy. Apparently, when finals are over...everyone is supposed to go home. Wow, what a concept.
 But I had to schedule my flight for Monday and so, I have been informed that if security finds me, I might be faced with quite a bit of a reprimand and a potential fine. So...I'm officially in hiding. Which means that my lights are on low. I'm making very little noise. I'm not going downstairs to cook anything to eat (I'm subsisting on a few Hershey's Kisses and a banana). Now, I've made it a bit easier on myself as I didn't wake up until 1:30pm. I haven't made it out of my pjs yet (I know, but I'm entitled to a lazy day occasionally). And I haven't started to pack yet. But this is all besides the point of this thread. I'm in a dilemma. I'm officially in hiding, but "Titanic" is on tonight and I'm desperate for some company, even if I find that company in fictional characters who die in the end. Now, there was a guy who advertised for company on Student News tonight, our school's email system. I have thought about joining him for a cup of Chai tonight, just to be friendly, but seeing as how my hair is still messed up, I'm still in my pjs and I'd have to walk half a mile to the nearest cafe, I'm thinking....no. So, back to my dilemma. I want to watch "Titanic", but the TV is in the lounge and the longue is a large room with windows everywhere. I'm on the third floor...the lounge is on the first and I know that security will be out quite a bit tonight. If they see the TV on, I would be busted. Now, I should be packing right now (I was ordered to do so by someone...ahem...  ) But...oh well, the movie is more enticing. So...any suggestions on how to get down there and watch the movie without being caught and facing the wrath of three or four men in their 40s who walk around as if they are God's gift to campus? (Note: I've had run-ins with security before...so future run-ins should be avoided at all costs). So...help a poor girl out. :right:

Just go and enjoy the t.v If the security jerks come to hassle you, just slip em a $10, and they will get lost.
Tell em to go and stop some real crimes, and leave you alone.

Well you could try and be real nice to them, and if that does not work then try the flirting thing........ FTO can give you some pointers hehehe
 After that a bribe of some kind ?????????????????? If all else fails smuggle a TV up to your room

While I recognize the sarcastic humor of your statement, I'd like to remind you that (1) I am a girl. (2) I don't enjoy staring at naked women as you do nightly with a towel and a Playboy. (3) The greatest part of that scene is the trust she places in her soon to be lover as she makes herself extremely vulnerable in her position. The appeal of the movie is the romantic intensity of a doomed relationship...let's face it, peeling your lover's lifeless and frozen hands off of you isn't the greatest end to a movie, but damn, if the journey isn't worth it for those few passionate and intimate moments.
