how many quarts of oil does the 3.1 take?
just purchased a 2002 malibu and i am going to use ful syn mobil 1 5w30 for the life of the vehicle and i cannot seem to find any information on how many quarts of oil she takes.

After an oil and filter change it will take approximatly 4 1/2 quarts to bring the level to the full mark
