Lightbulb Kind of Amusing

Thought of this one day for no reason but have you even wondered why a japanesse car company would put the name skyline on the back of the car and the gt-r badge on the grill in english? i would understand that for the cars they export to britain or whereever but in japan its like that. maybe japan wants to be like us cause we rule...

All their cars have english names on them. Alot of the Japanese and Okinawans speak or read or at least can puzzle out english. Most learn it in school as a second language. Im sure its the same way on mainland.

Whats funny about the cars is the names. I cant stand those Diahatsu(sp?) Move's. Why would you name it that when it cant move worth a damn anyways.

If we ruled, we'd have skylines at our Nissan dealerships x's a lot more! Have you ever looked in Japanese magazines? You'd be surprised how much english there is in those things. I know in Italy, english is a required language in school and you still have to take another as an elective. So it might be like that over in Nippon too!

Why Skyline, when it would end up being pronounced "Skyrine"???

(Almost a question worthy of consideration, btw)
