What kind of paint for my front grill,do I need some kind of plastic primer 1st

I want to paint my front grill in my 05 impala,it's plastic, I can buy the paint to match in a spray can but does anyone know what I have to spray on the plastic first to get the paint to stick so it don't fall off?thanks
