Good deal?
I have a guy that just started up where I work with a 4g4d with a B18 non vtech. He put high compression forged pistions and aftermarket rods, new valve springs, msd, and new cams, and has it set up for nitrous. He wants $1800 for the engine, tranny, and ECU. Oh and he has reciepts to back up his claims. And says I can drive it for a day and take it to any mech. I want to have it checked out. But my friend can get me a stock B18 non-vtech with tranny and ecu for $800. Which would be better? I don't know much about B series engines. Would it be cheaper/better to fix up the cheaper one? I'm going to check it out tomarrow when he brings it to work. So I will post a reply tomarrow.
