Just wondering if anyone has put 17" wheels on their G20 and NOT lowered it. Seems like most of the folks with aftermarket wheels also have a ~1.5" drop. I don't want to have to worry about hitting speed bumps or bottoming out going up my driveway so i'm considering leaving the ride height stock. I'm just worried that the gap between the tire and wheel well will look huge. So, how about it? Anyone using 17's on their stock suspension?

What kind of wheels/tires did you end up getting, Frogg? How much did you spend? I'm considering the Konig Toxxins since the 17" only weighs 18.6lbs/ea. I like the Imagines better but they weigh over 20lbs each and i'm looking for something light.

I noticed when I got my 17's that the ride was horrible ..very rough on stock suspension
. And the gap .. welp, let's just say you can fit your fist between the tire and the fender - it's bigggggg, hehe . But sometimes, from different angles the car will look lowered cus of the 17's, so that's an advantage. My g is going to have a 1.7" drop this week - so im happy .

I ended up going with the Racing Hart M5's, since the C5's are discontinued (why?!). They ran $1640 with Yokohama Parada tires.
