Can't say I've ever heard of an M5 camaro before. The only "special edition" (or whatever you want to call it) I can think of is the Z28R, unless you want to cout the RS. Could that be what he's thinking of?

Re: question
Is he referring to his transmission, i.e. M5 versus an A4???
