good price on engine w/ tranny??

well i came across an h22a engine and tranny for around 2700 dollars is it worth it to replace my nonvtech h23 engine out of my 92 lude si that has 113000?

The h23 is a very respectable engine and has a lot of potential of making more horsepower. A cheaper way to go, is putting on an h22 head. Do some research...it may be the same as ls/b20/vtec as far as oil line and vtec wires. I don't think I have actually seen anyone around here with it..but then again I do live in southern Oregon Though, I have heard many people elsewhere talk about it, so yah, try researchin Let me know how it goes

I agree, with the milage you have on the engine, it also woulden't be a bad idea to rebuild with higer compression pistons to take advantage of the extra VTEC power.
