Talking Who wants big a$$ brakes

i have this in classifieds also, but i wanted people to see this. just got a speeding ticket, and i need money.

BEHOLD!!!!

Thats right ladies and germs....these are ex front "big brakes"

I picked these up about 2 weeks ago, and would rather sell them on AF before i attemp to do ebay.

They're in very goodd shape, and make an awsome upgrade to your civic/crx. I have these on my Si, and I love them. I just had the rotors surfaced, and the rust you see in the pics is only surface rust. There is a broken wheel stud, but i have an extra one...which will be included. I was going to have it fixed before i sold it, but my mechanic said that if you try to replace a stud off of the car, there is a good chance that the wheel bearing could explode. Good luck getting that back together

at any rate...hit me up with reasonable offers. highest offer at the end of the week takes them.

I also grabbed an a6 cylynder head while i was at the yard...it was an "all you can pull" day, so i figured what the hell.

This came from the same EX as the brakes. Unfortunately, the mfpi system was torn apart, or I would have taken that as well. The head seems to be in working order, however, the car was quite high mileage (about 190k i think). The manifold is also missing the fuel rail as well as the injectors. There is a broken exhaust manifold stud also. I really dont know what to charge for something like this...so im just gonna let you guys make offers....i picked this up basically for free, and i thought it would be good for someone who wants to get an a6 head to rebuild.

Thanks guys..

hey dude...do u still have the Teggy rear disc setup? I never got to the junkyard to get those off the one i saw there

If i wasn't so broke right now, I'd buy the EX and the Teggy discs from you.

I need to find an all-u-can-pull yard

sorry...no rear discs right now...

i would have gotten a set the same day i got these, but i chose to work on the ex first since they are much rarer than tegs. like 6 mexicans came over and started working on the teg like a bunch of hurngy ants. rofl... so needless to say, i didnt get anything useful off of that car.

Nice...that shit is funny

i did manage to get the 4-door Teg e-brake cables, which was my priority the day I had some time. The 4-door tegs are pretty rare around here since all the ricers keep wrecking their coupes, but the grandma's keep their 4-doors running forever...so I got those...now I figure I can get the rear discs just about anywhere since I have the rare part of the swap for my sedan.

Thanks for the info tho...

i know someone wants these..

we always talk about how hard these are to find.

i was thinking around $250 shipped....i think thats fair

as for the head...$25 plus shipping would be enough for me to part with it.

Believe me, if you had tried to sell this stuff any other time of the year (ie. maybe a month or two before/after Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years) I'd be all over it!
