I hate cops

Today my friends and I went street cruzing to see if we could get a one race in before the movies. After driving about 1hr i decided to challege my friend's somewhat supped up prelude. So we at a red and we went at it...He's a better driver than me so he won...then my civic, my other friends 97 accord and the prelude was at another red light.

As we all were ready to gun it, my friend in the accord looks back and gives me a weird look, so i aborted to go, but the prelude didnt know.
He sscreeched his tires and a cop comes speeding to catch him.

He didnt pull him over but followed him for an hour...

the cop just drove around following him around for like an hour? What a weirdo. He doesn't have any donut shops to go to? I guess your friend's lucky though he didn't get a ticket. He could've gotten one for squealing his tires.

This is not a law forum, if it was then people should respect the objective of the forum. But if you look at the title, it says Street/Track Racing stories. You are in the wrong forum if you want to talk about respecting the law.

I have no problem with properly organised racing.however when young kids are killing themselves and other people, putting innocent road users in the hospitals,in the wheelchairs,in the morgues,because peer pressure tells them that its cool to drive like an idiot,Its not just against the law,its against any measurable standard of decency.
Five years ago a friend was t-boned by a boy racer.She's in a wheelchair now.Her 8 year old daughter burned alive in the car.The jerk who did it was out in 3 years and has since had two convictions for driving while disqualified.YOU WONDER WHY I GET PISSED AT BOY RACERS?

about street racing....

I'm for it in only one kinda situation if the road your on is a highway and there aren't going to be any pedestrians or innocent victims around or there is light or no traffic. but if you could race at a track for pretty much free why not?

just because theyre street racing doesnt mean theyre being irresponsible. sure racing in the middle of traffic is stupid, but the vast majority of street races i go to are on a secluded road with a large groud of people, every entrance to the road is watched by a car of people with a walkie talkie or cell phone, and its very well organized. even the police know we do it but rarely break us up cuz they know were being safe, once we even had a cop come and sit and watch with us he didnt care and long as we werent putting ourselves or others in jeopardy. what im saying is u shouldnt be complaining about street racers u should be complaining about stupid racers. lets change the "keep it off the street" saying to "keep it safe and away from traffic, pedestrians, etc."
