Passenger side window
my passenger side window will only go down about 1/2 inch (its electric) anyone know if its the motor or if it is off track? i had started to take the panel off to look at it, but was running out of time.. and didnt want to deal with all the clips.... any help?? thanks

Can you hear the window motor running? My '92 would do tthe same thing on the driver's side. It would go down so far, stop, then go down some more, stop. It took about ten miuntes to get the window all the way down, and the problem was the motor. Had to be replaced (it's a bear to do, the motor is rivetted into place) but it works fine now. Hope this helps.

nope, i hear nothing... it will only go down about 1/2 inch and thats it... it wont budge and to get it to go up the 1/2 inch.. u have to push it with all your strength... so im guessing the motor is completely gone?? or could it be that and its off track?? i have no idea... thanks though...
--anyone know how much it would be for a dealer to look at it? or better yet.. how the hell do u get the door panel off?? is it just all those clips??
