Question HELP!! Which exhaust to buy for a present!!

I'm thinking of buying my boyfriend an exhaust for Christmas but not sure which one to get him. He wants either a 5zigen Fireball, Greddy Evo, or Evolution, according to his friend. Since I kno nothing about this subject, I need some help on which one to get and where I can get a good deal on them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

both are good exhausts the 5zigen is a louder canister style while the greddy evo is a more toned muffler. I myself own a 5zigen and love it.They both run around $500 but deals can be found. I would try just looking around on the net for best deals. good luck. BTW remind him how lucky he is to have a g/f that supports his car hobby

I personally don't know about 5zigen. Greddy is the shit though. I just put an Apexi n1 on my car, and I love it. I wanted the Greddy, but only paid $200 for my N1, so I couldn't pass it up. I've never known anyone who didn't like their Greddy

since my budget is tight, i was thinking of just getting him the muffler. but i heard that if u buy it separately, it might b difficult to find a pipe that'll fit or some exhausts don't sell it separately. is this true????

well yes you can do just a muffler good ones will still run like 200 ish you can just go to any shop speed or basic repair and they can weld it up for you. Also down the line you can get piping made to fit its not a big deal at all really i'm very happy with my custom piping.

What are the differences in estimated horsepowers & torques in the following setups:

1) Intake + muffler
2) Intake + larger pipe + muffler
3) Intake + larger pipe + glasspack + muffler
4) Intake + hi-flow CAT + larger pipe + glasspack+ muffler
5) Intake + header + hi-flow CAT + larger pipe + muffler
6) Intake + header + hi-flow CAT + larger pipe + glasspack + muffler

If you can provide an median cost for each setup would be great (not top end but not cheap end either).

I would like to do a comparison in costs vs. gain so that the decision can be more effective.

Thanks.
