Taurus 97 3.0 L KRANKSHAFT Sensor

I need help my 97Taurus check engin light is on show the krankshaft sensor mealfanction. we changed the sensor to a new one and the same masage is on what shuld we do to fix it? is it a posible problem with the wiering or some inteferace by ather instrument in the panel?

are you sure the crank sensor is bad not the cam sensor? i know the taurus prone to have cam sensor that is bad cause i replace many of them.

Yes the computer said crank sensor the one on the crank place
