I have a 2003 Civic and I am going to be dropping it about 1.5 to 2.0 in. and putting on 17x7 wheels with 40-45 offset. So I was wondering if somebody could help me and let me know which is the best size tire for me so I will not rub when cornering. I am debating between 205/40/17 or 215/40 or 45/17.

I think you will want to go with 205/40/17s. My 2000 is lowered 2.25f/2.0 rear and these fit good on mine and don't rub. Not sure how much different the latest gen civic is though but maybe it'll give you an idea

Re: need best tire size for Civic
Well what are the stock tire sizes on your car? That would help.

Re: need best tire size for Civic
So you could upgrade to 195/60x15" and 205/50x16" and lastly 215/40x17" but I'm not sure that last size would fit in the wheel wells.
