Dont expect honda reliability. Dont get the swap if you cant do the simple repairs yourself (ie changing the filters, fluids, spark plugs, timing, etc).

well, they wouldn't have marketed them as factory daily-driven engines in Japan if they weren't at least a bit reliable. but don't expect Honda-like reliability, and especially after you build it up, it won't be as reliable.

*cough*fd3s*cough*

but anyways...thats in japan...here, youd hafta swap it, which means no matter what, it still wont be as good as a stock jdm silvia...maybe 99.9999999% close (rhd conversion and everything) but its still not a stock jdm silvia...

man i hate saying "jdm"

the logikal has a point though.

Just cause it was used in a different car in Japan does not mean it will be as reliable in a 240sx as it was in that car. Especially a RB, you have to customize a lot of shit for that to work and it is just not the same as stock with it just swapped in there, not even modified. The actual engine internals should hold up as well as any other Nissan engine given proper maintenance and tuning.
