My Z vs 5.0
Hahaha, In short I got schooled.
This guy in a 90-92 5.0 Hatchback was kinda gunning it through traffic, so I figured I'd play along. After 3 attempts I got schooled each time.  Oh well, My Z isn't the fastest thing out there. He didnt really pull ahead till about 3rd gear or so... after that he just walked away. Fun times.I might of done better, and shifted faster had I not had a open soda can resting between my legs trying not to spill it. I've no cup holders, so I have to improvise. The guy was pretty cool, we were laughing I gave him a thumbs up and all that. Just two guys having fun on a fairly open road.  Happy Turkey Day everbody... becareful this holiday weekend of the drunks and the idiots on the road. Especially look out for drunken idiots. Be safe, have fun!

Well Redneck, lemme just whip out my crystal ball and see what's in your future after this loss.
*begins conjuring* Hmmm...... I see three carburetors, with two little chrome velocity stacks on each one. They're, yes, they're mounted on the side of your Z's six. They're sidedraught carburetors, definitely two barrel carbs. Now, I'm beginning to make out a word stamped onto them. Six letters, begins with a W...... W....... We....... Web...... Webe.... Weber carbs! Yes, this is a sign! Buy triple 45mm Weber DCOE carburetors.

And even if it was still around, I wouldn't want his stock single cam motor anywho... the motor in the Z now makes just a ass hair more than it. If I'm gonna do a swap it'll be either one of three motors. A Small Block Chevy V8, a Supra 2JZ, or the motor of many a ricer dream the RB26DETT. Quote:
