Issues with a stubborn headrest

I'm at the point of giving up....or maybe I just don't see it. I' m trying to remove the head rest from the front bucket seats on a 1993 GP and I'm not having any luck. Any ideas or secrets??????????

I think the headrest base at the seat on of them have or both on the outer side a small tab that when pressed would let you take off the headrest. Hope this helps.
