Having problems with a 2000 4.8L misfiring...hooked it up to a DTC reader and I got the code P0300 Misfire detected. I looked up the misfire history and every cylinder except the 5th and 6th have a history.
Funny thing is I can't feel a misfire at all, throughout the entire RPM range and gears. Anyone had a similar problem or might have some knowledge on what the problem could be?

Been there! Most likely your injectors have sticking poppet balls in the end of the tubes. Also could be clogged fuel filter or low fuel pump pressure. Go to this link and search on the word MISFIRE.
http://mct.truckmoxie.com/ Calif EPA forced GM to extend warranty on injectors to 10 yr / 200K. There is also a new type injector system to replace the poppet valve system. A good cleaning may help.
