PS2 sucks
GT3 is comming out for the xbox and i have seen some clips...graffics wise it blows the ps2 versoin the away, and i have also heard that some of the cars avialable only in the japanese version will be avialable in the us xbox versoin though i do not know this to be true should be one kick ass game :-)

eeeh, since sony's the one that's paying for the development of the GranTurismo series, I find it hard to belive that they would release it on someone elses platform....
proof please...

The only thing Xbox has even close to GT3 is the upcoming Sega GT 2002. Sony and Polyphony go hand in hand, so forget asbout Gran Turismo being on the Box.

Xbox gave out there list of new realese titles and i dont remember the EXACT relase date but i do remember clearly seeing GT3 on the list give me a few more days and ill track it down.

Right. Take a look at Tony Hawk 2X on the Box, and Tony Hawk 3 on PS2. Every review is heralding TH3/PS2 as the best new TH game. Seems like the Box's launch titles have a few rehashes in them. Halo is nice though. But Project Gotham Racing is too much like 'ghetto racing' using style points, rather than genuine race strategies to win. Hopefully Sega GT 2K2 will bring out some real GT racing on the Box.

Gran Turismo on the X Box. I think I smell Bullshit!! Like Sony is gonna give a way one of their best games. Next thing you know, there will be Super Mario Bros. on the PS2. Riiiiiight.

Oh yeah, I know what you are saying. It's just somewhat ironic. But yeah, Sony is going strong and full right now, so there needn't be any worries about multiplatforming the Gran Turismo line.
However, I am VERY disappointed that Konami has decided to stick Metal Gear Solid 1 on the XBox. MGS1 was one of the PSX's most revolutionary games, which almost identified the PlayStation, and planted their existence firmly on the map. Even though there are no plans for MGS2 being ported to the XBox, it's still sad. Oh well, all I can say is, ANOTHER REHASH FOR THE XBOX!!! C'mon where's the originality? Halo is great, but it reminds me too much of GoldenEye; they have similar levels of popularity in their respective eras.

I thought you just get "style" points, for doing specific driving manuevers... didn't know you also get points for crashing. How fun. Then it's more like a refined version of that old computer game Destruction Derby.
