Gunze Mr. Metal Color Bronze = Green !?!?

Has anyone used Gunze's Mr. Metal Color Bronze? When I got it, I thought it was odd the bottle cap was green, and even stranger when it sprayed green with a bit of a metallic finish. Okay, let it dry and see, I thought.

Nope, still green. What's up?!? Is this Gunze's definition of Bronze? Or did I get a reject bottle? I was looking for an alternative to Tamiya's Bronze, and since ModelMaster doesn't have a Bronze Metallizer, I tried this.

Yeah wierd isn't it? I was perplexed too, can only assume it is ment to represent tarnished bronze.

Rest assured Mr. Color Bronze is indeed green or green tinged. It's not an odd bottle or anything. It's supposed to represent weathered bronze or tarnished bronze. Not really good for full out metalizing auto parts but it is good for adding effect to exhausts and such. Sprayed or misted over chrome or whatever color your exhausts are, can add some heat color or general variations in color that hot exahusts pipes will turn after usage.

All of the Gunze (GSI Creos) Mr Metal Colors are exactly what they state they are, pretty much as the bottle top suggests. The only one that is wierd is bronze and even then it has a green top and is green in colour charts so not really that weird after all.

BTW the Mr Metal Color paints I've used were all the buffing type. I assume they all are.
