Pic of the new hood

Its white the car is red and the bumper is primered black but it will all be primered soon. I will get some better pics tommorow if anyone cares to see them. Also rode in an ls hatch today and I wasnt that impressed.

Its a gude fiberglass hood that needs alot of work to fit but is well worth it.

Tell me your honest opinion on the hood.

I was gonna go with that same hood, but went with cf instead. Looks good though... Can't wait to see everything when it's all the same color!

That's gonna let a lot of water in during the rain.

Water in during the rain isnt the least of my worries...the jackass that I got the hood from drilled the holes wrong so I have to re gel them and put new pin holes in it. The places for the bolts on the hinges are stripped on the pass. side. I am going to have to either put studs in them or somehow graft the attachment point from my old hood. I will get pics of it in the light tommorow.

Ewwwwwww that hood is so freaking gross.

I feel sorry for the car that, that thing is on. The air slot looks sloppy the way it was cut up too.

Just plain wrong on a 4g.

Sorry.

I say go for it. If you fix it up properly and have everything one color then alot of minds will change. Plus I like seeing different things....

Re: Pic of the new hood

not half bad, and definitely worth the price you paid!

I say go for it. Ditch the hinges altogether and go 4-pin! The hood should be pretty light, right?

Hit me up when you get it fitting right, eh?

Re: Re: Pic of the new hood

Cant tell how much I paid for it. I know that the slit looks retarded right now but Im going to get some mesh for it. And yea the whole point of the hood is to not be like everyone else. I was the "different one" in high school so I have no intention of changing.
As far as the 4 pin thing goes I dont like that Idea because if I want to check my oil or show my shit off then I have to take hood completely off.

Re: Re: Re: Pic of the new hood

In the pic it looks like it comes up a little too high in the middle for my liking....could just be the angle of the pic though....not something I would put on but if you like it more power to you
