Speed Sensor

My intrepid recently started giving me a problem with the speedometer and not shifting gear. It seems like it stays in first gear and begins knocking really bad. The speedometer also does not work. I am being told that it is possibly the speed sensor and would like to konw if anyone has any ideas or such. Also, does anyone know where i can get one and about how much it will cost. PLEASE contact me via email @ [email protected] or AIM @ RODRIGU21
