experience with racing Rsx type S
I just wanted to see how other 4 gens stay up with this new breed of hondas. The new civic si's too.
I have only raced 1 rsx type-s and it had an aem intake, he was talkin all types of sh*t, we raced from a light and I pulled in every gear. Those new si's are poop, I destroyed one, 5 times he tried to pass me, I was just pulllin and then let off and pulled again. I think honda should have kept to their small displacement, high reving engines like the b-series. They are formula one engines designed for the street. And I get 20+ mpg . Whats up!! What im workin with: 88 civic dx hatch with 89' b16a with limited slip differential from integra xsi, iceman intake Groundwire kit hi-flow cat 2 1/4" mandrel bent Apexi N1 Energy suspension shift bushings (nice!!!) Black 92' integra gsr rims White with VIS ZC Carbon fibre hood jdm amber corners jdm amber sidemarkers gutted back |

Regardless of size of engine, you've still got a major weight advantage on him too.
I dunno though... the new EP's are growing on me... I'm starting to think about getting one these days.

i like the slight redesign of the '04 civics, and the si, they look much better than the '03 models, even though it only looks as if they changed the front lights, and bumpers.

I was talking about the 89 Civic dx w/b16a w/LSD Maybe smaller engine size, but not too much of a power difference, and the Civic DX weighing in at a little over 2k and the RSX/Civic almost at almost 3k... I'm still thinking about getting myself an EP though... I need something to carry my golf clubs in :P
