Won't idle
I bought my son a 94 Eclipse GS and the idle drops down and the car eventually dies with the A/C on. Any ideas?
Thanks |

Check for vacuum leaks as well. A bad PCV valve or cracked vacuum line causes our cars to throw fits when trying to idle. Also 1g's have problems with the idle control mechanisms in the throttle body. You can try manually raising the idle rpm by adjusting the BISS screw to see if that helps. I would suggest giving the engine bay a good once over to look for rotted vac lines, replacing the PCV valve ($5) and turning up the idle.
Should help dramatically
