Makes me think an Escalade pick-up wouldn't look so bad afterall... nevermind, yes it would. Nice chop though. Love the paint.

Re: Another chop from me (Escalade)

nice work, it looks like you switched the normal blue paint layer to luminosity... i think it would look a lot better with some sort of grille though.

Re: Another chop from me (Escalade)

that's cool!

an escalade truck ACTUALLY doesn't look bad, i've seen enough real ones that, well, it's grown on me. here's a pic of one from a magazine about a year ago... (never thought to photoshop one!)

Thanks for the positive replies,

for the color I jus selected the whole truck, desaturated it, then went to adjustments->Color balance. than you mess with the bars there til u get the color u want to stand out the most, then on the bottom of that window its sez shadows, main paint or sumtin, and highlights. choose highlights and mess with that, then shadows you can mess with too and u get colors like that.

The color is a little "Strong" for the vehicle.

You need a shadowcast under the body and over the wheel/tire.

This is such a neglected portion of chopping yet so dramatic and realistic looking.
I do not understand why but a handfull of people use it?

Heres what Im talking about to give you an example.

You can clearly see the shadowing on the pic below.

Other then that its sweet as hell!

Sorry for the off-topic, but the EXT is not a pick up truck. The picture of a real Escalade pickup that someone posted is okay, that front end just needs a big rear too...

Re: Another chop from me (Escalade)

LOL WHO SAID THE ESCALADE TRUCKS USE f-150's

HAHA

news flash: cadillac is a GM company, the front fenders/hood/grille are a direct fit for chevrolet silverados and GMC sierras, 2001+.

the only donor parts an f-150 ever gets is junk from the lincoln navigator, which looks cool in its own right.

anybody ANYBODY whoever crossbreeds a chevy and a ford shall suffer great pain.
