Blown motor 91 accord

My engine threw a rod a couple of days ago, and I wondered if anyone knew what type of engine and or transmission would be a good swap. It's an automatic right now, but i would like to put in a stick if possible. I am not exactly sure what would be involved but i would appreciate it if someone would advise.

Re: Blown motor 91 accord

Generally speaking, the auto to manual swap is pretty tough, and requires tons of time and some wiring. I don't know specifics, and probably wouldn't have the cojones to do it myself...

I don't know exactly what motors go into the accord, but I know that place racing makes several mount kits for the accord. I am pretty sure they have an H22 kit and a B18C kit for that, but they're probably both very complicated swaps, especially adding on the auto trans conversion...

Good luck!

Re: Blown motor 91 accord
