ma audio

ok heres what i have. ive got a ma audio comp sub box with 2 10's in a band bass box
800W Max Power
Front Plexi-Glass Window
Gold Plated Terminals
High Density MDF Construction
4 Ohm Impedance
Dimensions: 12.5”H x 24.5”W x 12.5”D

and this is the amp powering it
2 x 200W RMS @ 4 Ohm Stereo
2 x 300W RMS @ 2 Ohm Stereo
1 x 800W RMS @ 4 Ohm Mono

Dimensions (H x W x L): 2.7” x 12.4”x 10.6”
what is the best setup for this system? i have a clarion 535 headunit and stock speakers. im trying to get the most bass outta this i can.
if i hook up the subs in parallel to make them a 2 ohm load this wont blow my sub or anything but it will give me a performance boost?

sorry originally wrote this post at like 330-4 in the morning i was really tired

Re: ma audio

If you have 2 4 ohm speakers you can only wire them to a single 2 or 8 ohm load or wire them individually. Your amp can't handle a single 2 ohm load, and wiring them to a single 8 ohm load and bridging the amp will give you 200w to each. Wiring them individually will also give you 200w to each. That amp and those subs are a bad match for each other, you can't pull the most amount of power out of that amp with those impedences.
