1999 4x4 maximum tire size

Anybody know what the maximum tire size for a 1999 GMC 4x4 1500 Suburban would without rub?

It would depend on how much lift you have or how wide of tire you are looking for. If you are looking at hight or width. If you are looking at width I beleave that you could go as wide as 33's as for hight I am not for sure that you could go much taller than stock without adding a lift to it. Then it is just a matter of how much lift you want.

The vehicle is completely stock right now and currently has 265 - 75 - 16 Michelin LTX M/S tires on it. I have a friend that has a 1991 stock burb that he has 285-75-16 Bridgestone Dueler MT tires on with no problems. I am wondering about a 295 or 305 - 75 - 16.
