Cabin Filter for a 97 Civic EX

Where is the cabin filter located and can they be cleaned or should they be replaced??? Thanks in advance for any info.

They need to be replaced. Ive never had a 97, so I dont know exactly, but some are behind the glovebox, or under the plastic trim right in front of the windshield.
