Question My hood is stuck!

Ok. My car has been sitting up for a while. The hood cable was broke off from under the hood at the latch. I can pry it open and release the hook-latch but it still won't open! What is the deal? It feels like it is stuck around the fenders and I don't see how. We are going to try to puncture the hydraulic arms and see if them freezing is the cause. Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks!!:flash: :help:

Lightbulb Don't flip ur lid

I had a 95 Z Coupe and noticed a similar problem. The hood started binding at the hinges. I used WD-40 to free them then applied the White Lube (think its called Lithium Grease) in the aerosol can for the longer lasting fix. Good luck in solving your problem.
