ENZO detail set

Any word on the release of Scale Motorsport's release of their Ferrari Enzo carbon fiber detail kit?

Matthew Wells of Scale Motorsports was a vendor at the model car show I attended this weekend.
He had a enzo kit with him that included 7 sheets of templated decals. 15 or so turned metal parts. Photo-Etching, and a reference CD.
He mentioned that the kit is ready to sell, he is just awaiting a license agreement from Ferrari to distribute.
He mentioned it may be available in as little as 3 weeks from now..

Hey CADguy, you wouldn't know if SMS is planning on doing anything with the Williams? Like a CF template set?

I didn't ask about that car, and he didn't mention it. You could send them and e-mail and ask. They are usually quick with replys, and friendly.

Thanks for the tip CADguy, I'm usually reluctant to email a company as professional looking as SMS, but at your urging I did. And you're right, fast and nice. Turns out they're making some template sets. HOORAY! And sorry, BVC500, for hijacking your thread.

Re: ENZO detail set

If I remember correctly 3 sheets.

I've heard rumors that this will be released mid-february, as well as the Williams F-1 set. I'm reluctant to believe this rumor, as I've been asking for over a year when it will be available and have received the same response every time. It's always "it'll be a couple weeks". The first time I heard that was a year ago.

But when it appears on the SMS site for sale you better bet one will be mine.

Re: ENZO detail set

Yes, I've talked to Matthew, too, and I think the kit is imminent. The price sounds reasonable to me, particularly compared to the Porsche 956 kit of a couple years ago.

Do they ever sell the parts separately?

That is, could we buy the PE and turned parts separately, like Acu-Stion?

Thanks

Re: ENZO detail set

Yea I would rather just buy the Cf decals than PE parts. And $120 is alot of money. I would rather pay like 30 for the Cf sheets

Re: ENZO detail set

That's great news SMS are doing a FW24 detail set. I was beginning to think Mathew only cared for Ferraris and Porshes!
