Colored Primer
Is there colored primer besides grey and black? i wanna primer my 91 s10 but dont want it black or grey... i was hoping i could find orange.... thanks

You should be able to find at least two other colors. There is a rusty brown color and a chocolate brown color available from some companies. I think there are white primers too, but I haven't seen any for several years since top coat opacity has improved.

using the grey primer as a natural base you can add colors to it. just go to your local auto paint shop and get 'em to mix it for you, if you don't have a shop around i'm sure you can find something on the internet somewhere.

Why do you want colored primer? Your just going to paint over it anyway.

The whole reason of getting colored primer on your truck is to make it look different than the stupid-ass looking gray and black colors that everyone else uses. Going to truck shows, I've seen primer in white, blue, red, obviously gray and black, and that orangy-rust color that was mentioned before. The absolute FIRST time I've seen the colored primer on an S-10, I did a double take saying to myself why didn't he clearcoat it?? Now, obviously, I know primer comes in a few colors.
