Unhappy Head Gasket down for the count???

Ok, I never, ever, ever drive my crx anymore, I don't want to drive it until its completly done. I let the inspection and tags run out and all that good stuff. But I do start it up a few times a week to pull it up the driveway and into the garage and it's always ran fine. I tried to start it last night when it was like 28 freaking degrees out and it barley turned over...dead battery. So today I got it to start and it ran fine at idle. But when I gave it gas it wouldn't hold a rev at all. I let it warm up a bit more and I barley got it to rev to 4 grand and to even get it there I had to keep giving it gas and letting off real quick. When I try to rev it, it sounds like its missing real bad or something, but all my conections are fine, or seem to be. And when I try to hold it at a rev it strugles so hard and really rocks the motor. I noticed some oil buring off the motor too, but its an old, oily, HF so that could be anything. I checked the dip stick to see the color of the oil and it was a nice golden brown like castol high milage should look like, didn't show any signs of anti-freeze.

Could this be the head gasket going? They guy I bought it off of said it had a rebuilt head, so I imagine they replaced the head gasket when this was done? Like I said, I never drive the car, its my baby, my project, and not road worthy at all. I could really give a shit less about this motor, but its a real pain in the ass when I move it, because it hardly moves. Thanks guys.
