94 Lesabre won't start. Someone please help!!
Our 94 Lesabre won't start. Had it to the Buick shop and they wanted to replace the battery and the starter. Said they tested both and they were bad. My husband replaced both and it is still doing the same thing. When we turn the key to start, all lights, radio, heater, everything works, but the engine makes no sound at all. WE simply hear a click, like there's a short or something. Any ideas of what it could be would be appreciated. It's not turning over or anything. Thanks.

I have a 95 buick. I experienced the same problem, the starter was bad, I changed it but same problem again, figured out that second started was also bad changed for second time, it is working perfect now. Dealer said that it is possible that new starters can go bad

Dealer is wrong I work for a dealer and have seen many bad new parts!!
Take a screwdriver and very carefully jumper the 2 studs on the starter and see if it cranks.
