new pipes?

i look under the elcamino today to look at the condition of the muffler again, and it was ugly. the whole pip was rusted and ga about 5 or so holes through out the pipe leading to the muffler. can i buy a pipe to replace the old one or do i have to take it in to a muffler shop to get it replaced?

Re: new pipes?

If you know how to weld then it won't be hard to replace the rusted section of pipe.
Just buy a new length from the exhaust shop, or the steel shop and weld it in.
If it requires bending either of the above should be able to do it, or you can buy pre bent sections and weld it all together.

If you don't know how to weld then you will have to get the exhaust shop to do it.

ok cool because the whole pipe is rusted out, even past the emissions thingy il just get them to replace it all and put on a muffler that rumbles too.
