Going to the blown side...

Well I've been reading alot of tech articles and such and I think I've decided to go turbo. At first I was going to supercharge it, but the only SC that I REALLY want is the ENDYN one, and car will be hovering before that gets released. I had also thought about building up a N/A beast, but I'm on a tight budget to really put a whole lot into my car. Now i do know that I'm gonna have to build up my car anyways, but seeing that I can build a turbo kit for a decent price (alot less than a SC) I've decided to start my project. I think I'm going to use my A6 for hte project, tho if i can find a good deal on another motor (any better motor) i may swap or also may mini-me. and though a turbo kit from like Eldebrock or GReddy would be nice (and CARB legal), they are too expensive. and also with my plan now, i can buy pieces at a time when i find great deals and go that way. plus it'd be just that much more automotive experience I'll be gaining (seeing as I've dropped, rebuilt, and installed a motor, replaced a tranny, plus little other things, and i'm probably gonna tackle the actually tranny guts soon).

So i thought I'd just get some input from you all; tips from thsoe who've done their own projects (be even better if it were on an A6), plus if you know of any deals that would be awesome. i've been checkin out www.homemadeturbo.com and www.turbod16.com, along withturbo sections on many other sites, so i'm slowly gaining knowledge. I also found a site http://www.cse.uconn.edu/~yelevich/turbo/turbo.html that i'll be using alot for my project.

So wish me luck
